All over the place

Mo:

Been all over the place today.

Tomorrow is the Millennium Exclusive Convention and I´m hosting the education event for 40 Spinning instructors here in Gothenburg at Gymnasium Torslanda together with Matthew Griffiths.

We have people arriving from Malmö, Örebro, Linköping, Växjö, Hagfors, etc and it´s always nice to hang out for a day together. Tomorrow´s main topic is "Class Design" and I´m really excited about the schedule that´s on offer.

Always a pleasure to work with Matt as well. We compliment each other and have fun together.

Sunday is a day OFF (yiiiiiihhhaaa!) and Monday is the day I´m travelling to RUSSIA.

Should be able to post photographs from tomorrow´s event on Sunday morning.

Have a great Saturday, folks!

NIKE WOMEN SPRING 09

NIKE Women Spring 09 shown off by delightful "Urban Angels"

Mo:

I had the pleasure and honour to teach a Kettlebell-class for 60+ journalists at the NIKE Women Spring-09 release yesterday in Stockholm.

Since one of my absolutely favourite magazines was supposed to be represented (ELLE UK!), there was no question about what to wear...black. (Black MC-Hammer pants, black sky-high heels, black layered tops + black MC-leather jacket.)

That was until I went on stage, where I wore an explosion of colour (we´re talking rainbow here) from the stunning Spring -09 collection. Bubblegum, ahoy! It´s the best NIKE collection so far.

Check out my shoes, NIKE Zoom Training Essential in bright PINK - they remind me of sugar on a cane, and they make me smile...beautiful!

Colour, colour, colour. Candy for the eyes = Eye candy.

Front-row. I Love the fake fur! (with matching high-shine leggings, black MC-boots and black Marc Jacobs-handbag). Need I say that she was British?

I knew I should have become a journalist! Free foot massage & pedicures for all. Wow.

Multi-talented & fabulous Petter Ehrnvall and I, right before our classes...posing...(the shoes! Mmmmm...)...

...and getting charged!...

Petter very quickly decided that he liked this type of job... 60 beautiful women (and 1 man!) joined his Forza- and my kettlebell-class.

In action...

Girl talk

Mo:

I had the girls around last night. The Designer, The Stylist, The Sis and me. There were lots of laughter, great chilli and lots of stories. One topic that came up was unfaithfulness.
We all know someone who has been unfaithful, we all know someone whose partner has been unfaithful and the ones we don´t know about are more than we want to know about.

We discussed what to do if we found out if someone we knew were at it, to tell or not to tell, how it´s easy to judge other people and how long after the alleged affair is someone "clean" again? Is it ok to have an affair if the couple end up together? WHEN are you actually unfaithful? When you send someone insinuating texts, when you kiss, or when you have sex? Also, what is worse: several one-night stands or an actual affair over several months with the same person? And is it worse when a woman is unfaithful? (of course not, but somehow she seems to get judged much harder than a man...).

How do people find the energy/time/head space to have an affair??? It must be so tiring, time-consuming and stressful with the lies, the deceit and the sneaking around.

And how can the partner not know?
"Oh, honey, I fell asleep on Tom´s couch after me and the boys went back to his for a night-cap... I didn´t realize the time until I woke up and then it was 6AM!!!!...I´m so sorry...and, yes, my phone battery went dead! Can you believe it?"

We all agreed that:
- more people are at it than we want to know,
- that in some circles (not ours) it´s "the done deal" to play around away from home,
- that too many men and women get stuck in relationships that they are not happy with and
- that a strong physical attraction is important in a relationship.

What would I do if I found out that my partner was unfaithful? I have no idea. My emotional side says: Do all the crazy things that you see in the movies. Including the scissors. But the truth is: We don´t know until we´re in that situation.

Physical attraction is a powerful force, but I´d like to think that it is actually possible to live with one person and be faithful.
Am I a Love fool? Let time be my judge. :)

Either you got it...

or you don't!

JO

Some of us might not make it back...

- YOU PEOPLE, who are you calling YOU PEOPLE?!

Lovin it!!!

GLAD NAMNSDAG MAMMA

Birgitta
is the Swedish form of the Irish Gaelic female name Brighid. Brighid was the name of an ancient Celtic goddess, and its English form is Bridget. Birgitta and its alternate form Birgit became common names in Scandinavia because of St. Bridget of Sweden.

Saint Birgitta, also known as Birgitta of Vadstena, born Birgitta Birgersdottir was a mystic and saint, and founder of the Bridgettine Order, after over twenty years of married life. Uniquely among saints of the second millennium, she was also the mother of a saint (ME, Jo hihihh) - Saint Catherine of Vadstena of Sweden.

Besides my mother, my 3rd-6th grade teacher was named Birgitta. She keeps a warm place in my heart and life as a person who constantly inspired me to learn and absorbe more!

Thank you beautiful women

Jammin the BOOTEY

Just got back from Oslo, teaching a BodyJam foundation Training. The Girls did a GREAT 3 day hard work. I must admit that there is hardly NOTHING that goes up against some HARD BOOTEY SHAKIN :) Just ask my friend TOM up here :)

Highlights of the weekend:

§ THE GYM, wow! A PURE FRESH NEW gym outside Oslo, FIVE 55. When I arrived there were no lights, no stereo, nothing! But builders are positive people! They looked at the clock and said: "What, there is still 30min till you start right ?!" Ehh, True! And they did it!

§ HANNA, my Les Mills Co-worker were teaching a BodyStep foundation training. She is such a supa girl from UMEÅ, wow! And she is singel :) Like me, we had a lot of fun!

§ The last day, the Jammers hooked up with the steppers for a CHALLANGE! Normännen knows how the BATTLE, yeahhh!

§ two words: TROPIC THUNDER! You have to see this movie.... If you want to you can take me, I'll gladly see it again!

Soo Long Ya'll

Eagle Eye - just what the doctor ordered...

Mo:

Went to the movies last night with P, Febs and A.
Saw "Eagle eye", which was just what was needed after a long working weekend. American action, with lots of running, shooting, explosions, car chasing and nice eye candy in the form of Shia LaBeouf - yes, that´s his name.
I´ll give it 4 out of 5 in the not-so-realistic-but-entertaining-action-department.

TECHNO freak

Mo:

Wow, it´s been a long day. Got up at 5am to take the red eye from Oslo to Gothenburg. As I got of the plane, I managed a 10 second cuddle & kiss with JO, as she was waiting to board the Oslo flight that I arrived with! Good luck in Norway this weekend, Jojo! :)

Since I had so much on my agenda today, I decided to go straight to the gym when I got home (instead of feeling sluggish all day). This meant that I was doing dead lifts and serious squats by 9am! Whoha!

At 10am I was in line with the other computer nerds at Inet. Walked out with the Acer Aspire One (damn you, Matt!)... I´ll be too busy this weekend to even get it out of the box, but at least in the future I will have only 900g to carry around with me on airports around the world.
(I really wanted the black one, but it doesn´t seem to be stocked in Sweden, so in the end I went for the oyster white.)
Suddenly I´ve become the owner of a new phone AND a new laptop in less than a week.
Hmmmm.
At least there haven´t been any new shoes for a while...

Acer Aspire One 150

I´m having a spinning basic certification course Saturday & Sunday, so there were some organizing to be dealt with. Just as I was about to leave Pic-a-deli with my take-away lunch, Mango called and wanted to know if I wanted to meet him and R in said place, so I ended up having the luxury of fun´n´fab company for an hour! M&R always bring a smile to my face and get me in a glorious mood - 5am start or not!

Pink luxury in a bottle...

Also managed to buy the best nail varnish remover in the world - Chanel´s "Dissolvant Doux Nail colour Remover" today. It might not be the cheapest, but it´s outstanding. It was out of stock at the taxfree in Stockholm, Oslo AND Gothenburg - but I can understand why. One sweep and the nail is clean + still intact (not like cheaper removers that might take the colour off, but also manages to take half the nail with it...). Guys, you learn new things every day here at MOJO...

Tomorrow´s P´s birthday! (And I think I am more excited than he is!) I hope he´ll like his birthday presents...

I´ll be working 9-17 Saturday and 8.30-16 on Sunday - but hey, I get to sleep in my own bed and eat at home!
PURE LUXURY!

I´m happy. :)

CARPE DIEM

Okej, one last... this one is for YOUR FRIDAY!

Enjoy every second of it!

Thanks Anna :)

Supa HERO

Ohh and by the way, if I were a SUPERHERO, this is apparently who I would be :)

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)
You are smart and kind. You aren't mean to anyone and always think ahead. You don't like war but you aren't a hippie. You only use violence in defence and only rarely hurt people. You are worried about your friends and you are very honerable and obey your master.

Good Night Jo

Bring it On!

I am on my way to Oslo (soon, in about 8h) to teach a BODYJAM Foundation Training Fri-Sun. I decided NOT to bring my laptop since one of the arguments for me to buy an IPHONE was exactly that: I can check my mail from my phone.

I will try to blog from my Iphone in Oslo but I can't promise anything.... (I already SUCK at spelling from a computer, imagine a mini Iphone touch!!! Plz forgive me in advance)

School was great today (and it actually is every time :). Today Rolf Ekman, doctor in-love with the BRAIN talked about STRESS. According to him and his studies, STRESS is the most dangerous deices of the 21st century. That in company with the VAST options/possibilities/existential questions that we are faced with in today’s society. The BRAIN is running on overload and the result is not a pretty view!

So my THEME this week is:

STRESS-FREE LIVING

Stress in itself can be used as a stepping-stone. It can become a creative force, a creative energy. First accept it; there is NO NEED TO FIGHT with it. Accept it, it is perfectly okay!

Rest in yourself, relax into yourself. Enjoy yourself, celebrate yourself. Rather then waiting time in becoming somebody, BE A NOBODY. Then all stress disappears. Then tension is not possible. Anxiety cannot grow because you have cut the very root of anguish. Then life is beautiful as roses and luminous as stars :)

DIAMONDS are a girl´s best friend - Part 2

Mo:

Ohhhhhhh, another week that FLIES past. Right now it´s a question of keeping my head above water. Tomorrow morning I´m off to Oslo again, jumping on a train to "Brummundal" (I LOVE the sound of that name! It makes me think of the Norwegian children´s program "Bröderna Dal - Professor Drövels hemlighet").

I´m training the staff at Treningskompaniet between 16.30-21.00, then I´m getting a lift back to Gardemoen. I´ll be sleeping at one of the airport hotels, flying back to Gothenburg at 06.40am Friday morning.

I wonder if there will be any time to play with my new toy?

Diamond Touch from HTC, sleeker than an Iphone, with a "diamond"-shaped back... Nice.

I know, I know, I know... I said I would try and stay away from new gadgets for a while.... Well, I managed to say no to iPhone, didn´t I?

And I had a work meeting with Matt today and laid my eyes on his new Acer Aspire One...
Ohhhhhh.....SLEEK!.....

So sorry JO, already failed on Mental Detox day 8!....The story continues....

Mental Detox Day 8!

Okej here's a challange for some of you... (perhaps especially for you Mo, my love ;)

Day 8: SPEND TIME, NOT MONEY!!!

If we ake up and think "what should I/We do today", one of the major considerations is how much money we've got. If we have a lot, at the start of the month, then we have more choice than at the end of the month. If we have NO money we tend to think that we cannot do anything, and if we have had a windfall or a win on the lottery then we can do absolutely anything.

Yet having money sometimes stops us thinking about all the options we have. We tend to ignore the simple, straightforward options. Actually there are millions of things we can do that cost nothing!

For ONE whole day(choose saturday or sunday when you have the day of!), you are going to detox your mind of all the short cuts to happiness, and actually think about how to spend your time without spending any money.

To make the whole task a bit more fun, here are some rules:

  1. You get 50SEK BUT only for emergenices - you win extra points if you do not spend them!
  2. The following activities are NOT permitted (they will cost money or won't use any form of imagination)
  • TV
  • Cinema
  • Dining out
  • Shopping
  • Driving anywhere
  • Meeting friends for coffe
  • Bying ice creams
  • Going to the leisure center
  1. The Following activities are DEFINITELY PERMITTED:
  • Having a long relaxing bath
  • Making a cake/having friends for dinner/lunch using foods from the cupboard
  • Wedding in the garden
  • Gaing for a walk/Hike
  • Tidying out your room/cupboard
  • Looking around a local church/museeum/gallery that has FREE entrance
  • Going to the local library
  • Doing a day of voluntary work
  • Sorting out your old clothes, giving them to charity
  • Sorting out your photographs/cds/books
  • Reading
  • Visiting a friend you haven't seen in ages
  • Sewing buttons on to everything that has lost a button
And so on...

Try not to prepare too much. If you think about it too much in advance you may inadvertently get things into the house that will help you entertain yourself! Make a mental note of how you react to having no funds available.

All the luck!!!

And by the way, this is only a preparation for THE BIG DAY!

Jihaaa Let's ROCK!!!

ps. If you tell me your DREAMLIST, I'll tell you mine ;)
