The season of the (h)UGG

MO:
If any year was a great year to buy, not one, but two pairs of UGG boots, it must be the winter of 2010!
I have to admit that I have LIVED in these boots since I bought them and I´m prepared to break ANY fashion statement over and over and over again just to have my feet the perfect temperature they get inside these furry, rubber soled sheepskin slippers.
Being a person with eternally cold feet, there is nothing better than to be able to walk around in -15 degrees, without a trace of a blue toe.
Talk about being grateful for small mercies.

Chillin´ in da Crib

MO:
After an absolutely wonderful day together with P and Robin - my first full on FREE day in AGES, we´ve had a completely relaxed evening at home.
"Conditioner for the soul", as we say in Swedish...

The days, weeks and months just seems to have spun by faster and faster this year and I can hardly believe that it´s a) my birthday in about a week´s time - hitting the BIG 4.0. - yiiiihaaa! b) Christmas in less than 2 weeks c) our second wedding anniversary in 2 1/2 weeks AND d) 2011 in 3 weeks!!!

Thanks to P we have sorted out all our X-mas presents today! Well, not physically bought them, but decided who is going to get what. Which by any measures seems to be the hardest part.
I love Christmas and I love giving presents, but trying to buy gifts in a stressed out mood is NOT to be recommended - it always turns out very expensive.
Talking of which, I saw this beautiful, incredibly un-practical bag the other day, what do you think?

Completely so NOT practical, but oh so wantable.

Getting my MOJO back

MO:
First of all: a girl who likes her shopping stayed in front of her computer at 8am sharp.
It didn't really fly though, since the H&M virtual shop was crowded to the brim for the rest of the morning/day.
Grrrrr... Good marketing or not, it doesn´t go down well with me when you either have to queue in the cold outside your local H&M for hours, or hit the F5 button about 1.000 times in an hour and still not be able to spend your hard earned cash on the dress you´ve been drooling over.

Imagine my surprise, when I several hours later, visited a H&M shop to buy Robin new socks and found 1 of THE dresses almost in my size!
What a relief, because live it didn´t look anything like in the picture...

This, according to me, is the problem with haute couture designers doing clothes for normal people:

1. The materials are not even close to what they normally work with which makes the items look...well, not that expensive OR well made.
2. The clothes shown in the promotion movies are usually made with the real deal, which increases your expectations immensly.
3. Haute Couture designs are not made to be "compromised".

It happened with the Cavalli-collection, to the Jimmy Choo-collection and very much this time, with the Lanvin-collection. I´d rather buy normal H&M gear any day, actually.

In the evening I spent 90 minutes getting my MOJO back!
An hour and a half with Mr. Multi-Intenso, ass-kicked my joy and playfulness for yoga into shape. Just what the doctor ordered.
Thank you David and thank you JO for setting it up.

Said dress.
Mr. Multi-Intenso.

Christine & JO after class. Shining!

Queen of the Hood

MO:
Thank you for the amazing company and great laughs at today´s flea market, JO and A!
(Not to mention afterwards... :))
It would NOT have been possible without you guys.
There are some FUNNY, HILARIOUS but also sad stories from this, rather different experience...

Now, I´m dead.
Dead tired, but very ALIVE.
I´ve Feng Shuied my wardrobes, the storage, the office, the drawers, the attic - basically all the places where you can gather stuff and - it feels GOOOOOD!
A new start, a new beginning.

Have a bustin´Saturday night, friends!

Loppis

MO:

A fraction of the stuff that I'm selling on Saturday.
The Timberland boots are never worn (they still got the original price tag)...

Moonboots, winter jackets, snowboard pants, handbags, silk scarves....

More jackets, more pants, suede pillows, a blazer...

What friends are for...

MO:
WHAT a start of the DAY!
After having weird difficulties falling asleep last night, I got up at 1am to evaluate yoga DVDs until 3.15am...Finally fell asleep around 4am....
The alarm went off at 7.00 and believe it or not, I managed to have a SMASHING beginning of the day, much thanks to superstar JO!

30 minutes of: Squats - deadlifts - rows - and overhead squats, followed by heavier squats and deadlifts.
1h of yoga,
and THEN a hilariously hard session consisting of Bulgarian Bags/Rope and bungy-running.

Big heads up to Björn Gebenius from FORM Visby, who brought ALL his play things the whole way from Gotland! Now, that´s what I call dedication!

Looking forward to sweat it out for real this Friday with Björn, Christine and JoJo.

Friends are for support, training, sweating, shopping, planning,
brainstorming, drinking coffee, giggling, gossiping
and of course: hugging!
(amongst other things)

Met up with another tiger for coffee straight after the workout.
Now more tidying and Gosh, emptying the last wardrobes for shoes, handbags and clothes going on SALE on Saturday...
Enjoy the day, darlings!

From chaos comes order

MO:

This is what I´ve been doing most of the day.
Tidying the office. And I mean REALLY tidying out the office: putting papers into holders, throwing out old stuff, going through receipts, indexing one million different invoices/participant lists/manuals etc etc.
As I am one helluva multi-tasker (or ADHD-sorter-outer, you choose, I just CANNOT stick to only tidying - why is that???) I had to answer emails, send out confirmations, sort out my wardrobe, print invoices, take phone calls AND hoover the apartament, at the same time...

Catharsis was reached around 5pm.

Damn it felt GOOD to have a SUPER tidy office! And do you know what the great thing is?

On Saturday (yes, this coming Saturday 7 August), me and JOJO are going to KOMMERSEN to sell SO MUCH STUFF!

Just the amount of clothing and shoes is enough to open a shopping mall!!!
Soooo, if you´re a size small/36 in clothes - some hoods and jackets in medium/38 - and a EUR38 in shoes, you should DEFINITELY come by. :)

Hot MOJO up and running

MO:
This could easily become a thread full of disgust and distate towards the "customer care" at Babyproffsen in Sisjön - how they mistreat their clients with bad service, bad attitude, nonchalans and lies, but I won´t let that happen.

Not full on, anyway, because instead:

I want to salute the 60 people who turned up to my first Hot MOJO-class this afternoon!

WOW.
Thank you for your energy, drive and presence.

Catrin, Susanne, JO, P and Terz thank you for helping me to re-focus before the class.

Hot MOJO is officially up and running.

Dreaming of a new season

MO:

Today is really one of those days when -2 feels like -10 in this city. The moist air and the proximity to the ocean, makes the cold go right through flesh and bone.
Anyone else looking forward to Spring time???
It feels as though I´ve got stuck in different coloured Acne-jeans or black leggings for the past lifetime, and I cannot wait to be able to walk barelegged with high heels again.

I did, however, get a small taste of a different season yesterday, when I bought this gorgeous WHYRED skirt:

An absolute dream in organza silk and washed out colours with the new season´s apricot as a base.

Ready, Steady.....GO!

Pregnant bellies are great for written slogans - you can read the words loud and clear!
"Live, Love, Green" - Vest from Junk Food, Shorts NIKE, Belly MINE week 36.

MO:

I find it harder and harder to keep focus.
The tougher contractions seem here to last and there have been a few times today when I´ve been more or less bowled over by their strength...

I finally got around to buying nursing bras. Good ol´ H&M. The difficulty was knowing what size I need? Eventually I got two in the size I am right now - and 2 larger ones to "grow into".
We also bought diapers for newborns today. Totally unreal. I was like, "..ehhh...Pampers? Libero?...hell, which ones should we get??? They look exactly the same?....what the heck, let´s get both..."
AND I prepared the duvet+pillow cover for the buggy (which by the way is delayed! Urban Jungle supposedly got bought by another company...).
So...serious ongoing preparations....soon only 1 thing missing....the lead character...

Spring clean

MO:

I spent most of the day sorting out the new office.
1 black bin bag full of papers later, I´m nearly there.
Next up: photographing stuff to go on "Blocket" and starting to go through my wardrobes.

Keep your eyes open - in the next 2 weeks the Asian sisters will arrange the Jumble Sale of the year - I tell you, between the Designer, the Stylist, the former Clothes Store Manager & myself, there will be hundreds of phenomenal items to choose from!!!

I promise to keep you posted!

Retail Therapy

Mo:

During this whole pregnancy business, I haven´t felt like shopping AT ALL... It´s not very encouraging when old sizes fly out the window and only over-sized items fit over the bump. Which means: pregnancy means black numbers for your bank account!

However, today was a different day...maybe I got inspired when P came home for lunch and saw me wearing a pair of HUGE harem-pants pulled up to my armpits & burst out: "OBELIX?!" (as in Asterix & Obelix...)
...anyway...

I came back with 3 new dresses, new shoes and...a new handbag...Gorgeous!

In Walnut-brown - a gorgeous clutch from Hoss Intropia...
