Favourites

MO:
Had a great working day today.
Held 2 lectures for 80 people from the Fenestra School in Gothenburg on how to find balance and even better health in your life.

I was done by 13.00 and spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with Robin.
So many things are happening in his little life right now. Since he started walking properly on July 22, I can see small new changes every day. He talks a lot, although most of it is hard for an adult to actually understand. :)
He´s such a happy little fella! Smiling and giggling and happily giving away hugs.
He´s also showing great will and determination (I wonder where on earth he got that from???) and yes, he has a bit of (my) temper. Hmmm.....

In the afternoon it was mini-X-mas!
I received the latest items from the NIKE autumn collection. I´m not sure how they do it, but each time I see the new collection, I´m deeply impressed.

The function, the material, the colours, the cuts, the design - all of it, second to none.

My favourites are too many to mention in one go, but here´s some of them:

You cannot but LOVE these NIKE Storm Warriors!
Such a perfect Gothenburg shoe, it´s ridiculous.
Waterproof, soft like a sock and cushioned.
Wow.

I will dress these x-tended knit pants with high heels, because they´re worth it.
A gorgeous NIKE LS Top from the Sportswear collection rounds it off well.

Yes. The dress is NIKE. Can you believe it?
It´s figure hugging, black and grey and fits like a glove.
What´s not to like?

Favorite sweats

MO:
I´m not much for wearing sportswear during my free time, but sometimes I find a favorite pair of pants/tracksuit/top/hood etc that doesn´t leave my body for a while.
Top of the list right now? These grey, ingenious Nike Sportswear pants from the 2010 Spring collection, with a WIDE waistband and an extra narrow leg at the bottom - which fits perfectly inside my boots. You know, without all that extra material that normally creates masses of creases around your shin and calf.

The Nike Jogster pant from the Spring Sportswear collection. My yummy favorite right now.

Fashion faux pas

MO:

Yes, yes, yes... I AM VAIN. At least a bit.
My flow was almost thrown off course, when I 60 seconds before my fav spinning class, realize that WHAT? I´m wearing my winter boots-hide-away-warm-and-cosy-not-so flattering-and very-sweaty-when-you-train-in-them-NIKE socks! Now, Listen up folks, I will say this just once: the ONLY socks that are allowed to be worn indoors with cycling shoes are NIKE NO SHOW socks. EVER. Unless you are Lance Armstrong, of course, then you are allowed to wear anything. (Except a paper bag over your head, since you need to be identified as Lance - the only rider in the world who gets away with wearing calf-high cycling socks...brrrrrrr....just the thought sends shivers down my spine....and not good ones...)

I was severely stressed this afternoon. I sent 2 emails without attachments, (that should have contained attachments). I emailed contact details without actually remembering to add the contact details. BUT, there´s still no excuse.
Thankfully, all my regulars were there (PLUS JOJO, making an amazing apperance on the bike and in the KB-class!) and the energy from the crowd (almost) made me forget my aweful fashion faux pas...

EMBARRASING, but true.

Material Girl

MO:

3 material things that brightens up my day at the moment:

My new Nike Court Tradition LT Mid in fuschia

Always a true sign that autumn is near: Chanel Rouge Noir looks awesome on my toenails

Polar´s FT80! A heart rate monitor especially made for strength training. And it looks tastelicious too! This is a must in my kettlebell sessions from now on.

No worries

MO:

Check out picture no 1. Closely. Yes, that is my belly sticking out at the front. Impressive, eh? The photograph is taken on June 20. Pregnant in week 38 - 11 days before delivery.

Picture no 2 is taken today after my run. 27 days after the birth of Robin:

Picture no 3 is taken from the package of my new best friend: The Nike Revolutionary Control Bra. Sizes start with a D cup(!) and goes on to E... Wearing it makes me feel like I´m an extra in Matrix (in a sort of comical way), but I swear it works wonders for my "milk-machines" (even for more vigorous workouts).

GO JO

MO:

Good luck JOJO in today´s Göteborgs-Varvet!

Things needed for a fast, comfortable run:

Startnumber, iPod, foot sensor, watch and glamourous headband...

...and last, but not least: a super-charged JOJO!

I tell you, when she passed us at 1.9k, she didn´t even break a sweat! Finishing time should be anything between 1.45-1.50. Fab work, partner! You kicked serious ass today!

The temperature is rising...

MO:

The temperature kept going up today and during my afternoon fika with darling JOJO, I could feel my head cooking...LOVELY! (I know, I know, I´m such a sun worshipper...)

When P disappeared to do his deklaration, I went for a 3k run in Änggårdsbergen.

Or rather, I ran for about 2.5k in total and walked about 500m when the pain in my appendix scar got so bad my eyes were watering. It was all worth it though, because the last 800m-1k, felt great! (Especially after my second stop for a pee...sadly now it´s definitely bye, bye Skatås...)
YES!

Pre-run in a sea of colour...Skirt Lacoste, Vest and necklace H&M, shoes Mango, organic banana Eco Store...

7 months pregnant...Post-run...wearing running shorts! (which rarely happens in this country, since a temperature above 20degrees C is required...) Shorts, shoes, running sunglasses & functional T - all NIKE

Aaaaatchooooo!

Mo:

My pollen allergy has started its season. I have a constant frog in my throat and I´m sneezing my way through the day. Yoga has made it so much better though. My eyes and my nose are not half as affected as they used to be 10 years ago. Now I normally only have to take tablets on the worst grass-days (and those don´t start until June). Right now it´s hazel & elm, April/May it´s birch, then June-end of August grass...

I know that one of the things you should do on the heavy days is to stay inside. But since I felt a bit under the weather also yesterday, there was no way I could stay inside all day today as well...so at lunchtime I went for a run. Felt better when I came back. I had a smoothie, worked a bit more and then thought:

"Oh, let´s go on the bed of nails (spikmatta) for 20minutes and meditate.."

I woke up 45minutes later all dizzy....

Someone is going to bed early tonight

I have to move my feet forward from underneath my body if I even want to see the tip of my running shoes these days...

...and this is what my 6 months pregnant belly looks like from the side after a 5k run...

My (or actually P´s) bed of nails. I´m giving it a serious shot for 2 weeks-minimum 20 min per day, to find out if it makes a difference for me or not...

Choices, choices....

Mo:

Help! Which one?

Nike Zoom Bold Sister MD+

or

Nike Zoom Sister one+

(For better photos click on the names above....)

By the way, sadness struck today when I had to say bye, bye to my little car...
This little Toyota has served me beautifully for 2 years, it has sped around Gothenburg like a Ferrari on fire and dodged more speed-traps than greased lightning, but today it was time to hand it back. The lease is over and we got a second car that need some road time (since P moved his clinic two streets away, it´s not like he has to drive to work...).
But I did fall in love with my black Aygo and it will be long missed.....

I dare you

Mo:

I did it. I taught my spinning/kettlebell class in the leopard outfit today. Brave or just plain silly? Judge by yourself:

You went out in THAT?! Ehhh...yes..in front of at least 60 people....

Best Right Now

Mo:

a) being back on my feet.

b) Beyoncé feat. R Kelly in "If I were a Boy". (Thank you Magnus G for the detective work!).

c) PINK & black leopard (yes, pink & black) tights from the NIKE Spring collection -09. I will wear them tomorrow in my spinning & kettlebell-class. My clients will faint. In a good way.
