The black bag is packed-again

MO:
...and I´ve managed to be just a little bit more organized in my packing than usual...
I´m leaving for Stockholm early tomorrow morning.

Thursday will be spent with 2 great women. First a looong lunch with one and then afternoon fika with the other.
Me and date no 2 will then carry on to this place. Can´t wait!

I know Rickard and Erik from before - and I have to say that they must be two of the most influential guys on the Stockholm training scene during 2010.
I´m looking forward to their WOD ("Workout of the day" in Crossfit lingo) tomorrow night with 50% anticipation and equal amount of dread!

Thursday night I´m spending with this gorgeous man, who decided to leave the West Coast for the East Coast a while ago. I´m not sure I´ve forgiven him for that yet, but I am very much looking forward to seeing him.

Friday and Saturday are NIKE days. We always have our yearly kick-off with the Team in June.
It´ll be lovely to see everyone and get an update, since we are all quite busy and normally only meet a couple of times a year and mostly in passing...
Stay tuned for photos and a full report! :)

Ps. Two extracts from tonight´s dinner conversation - just to prove my head has gone a bit mad from all the strength training in the last few months:

Me: If mum and dad weren´t going away for midsummer´s, we could have gone to London for a Bulgarian Bag course!...and they´re doing the HIRTS trainer, the gladiator wall and the battling ropes too!!!
P: Ehrr.. Yes, we could´ve. Sort of...

Moments later (at least I´m not that easily deterred),
Me:...and you know what? We´re getting a rope-machine at the gym!
P: A rope machine?
Me: Yes! ...which you can pull from this angle, and this angle, and...
P:...Ooooookey....

Friends make the world go round and go around the world

MOJO by iPhone

MO:
Wonderful to see my beautiful, stunning soul mate JOJO for a quick fika this afternoon, before she heads off to Berlin.
I´m prepared for this coming weekend in Stockholm where I´ll be presenting 2 spinning classes at the classical event: Svettisdagarna, Friskis & Svettis yearly convention with 1.400 participants.
Yoga first thing in the morning, then I leave Gothenburg by train around noon with the whole little family. Yum, what a luxury having P & Robin travelling with me!
Now, bedtime...

Fame and Fortune

MO:

I start the day with a lovely fika. MG and I haven´t seen each other for ages and it´s always great to catch up. We talk business, training, life and future plans. I laugh and laugh and laugh so hard when MG tells me that I have met - and hosted - the most famous of the "Swedish Hollywood Wives". (Remember, we live without a TV, but how on earth could I have not heard the stories???)
She was here, in Sweden, at one of my events. She was working as an LA-personal trainer back then and she was dating a presenter that I hired. Case closed.

The rest of the day was spent chasing a Vårdcentral that would see me and prescribe a cough medicine. I have been coughing like mad since Friday and I would like to be able to have a good night´s sleep (between feedings) and not having to worry about waking the rest of the family.
At 3 o´clock the problem was solved.

I taught Spinning/Kettlebell at 5 o´clock. Hardworking mountainbike professional Åsa E came out to join both classes, since her competition season has ended. She said she was tired but happy afterwards and promised to come and join a future yoga class as well.

I´m hoping for another stunning autumn day tomorrow. Running with the pram is on the schedule for the morning, followed by some work in the afternoon.

Going, going, gone

MO:

You KNOW your life has changed forever when this becomes one of the ESSENTIALS on your holiday packing list:

What it is?
A baby bottle brush.

Travelling tomorrow. Happy I had time for fika with fabulous Mango this morning, followed by lunch with MOJOs own SuperStar JOJO before we, the little family, head off to the lovely island of Mallorca for a week!

To be continued...

"Wax on - Wax off"

MO:

Yes, regular readers of this blog has it figured out by now. It´s one day on - one day off.
Talking about the state of my (pregnant) mental well-being, that is.

When I woke up this morning, I had another one of those: "I want to stay in bed for the rest of this damned pregnancy"-moments...luckily for me, when P´s not around I have some amazing friends and family.

JO
had sent me a text, luuuuuring me out in the sun to have a fika with her. 40minutes later I was out of the house, freshly showered, dressed and on my bike...

Fika in the sun was followed by a gym training session later in the afternoon, sooo great for the heavy, stiff body and even greater when done together!

Gorgeous JO showing her strength and flexibility on the Kinesis wall

Doing dips in week 39... Yes, there it is: the Bump in all it´s beauty.

YES! Another day has passed...and I´m one step closer....

Cake me up

MO:

Could it be that "Putte" is an actor? (or "ögontjänare" in brutal Swedish terms...).
We were at the midwife´s this morning - and suddenly "Putte" was in a perfect "fixed" position again, ready to come out at any moment (just like he was over 2 weeks ago, last time we did the midwife thing - until he decided not to be fixed anymore 2 days later...)

I´ve now officially put on 17kg.

(We still don´t own a scales, but I was "weighed in" at the check up this morning.)
No wonder I feel "a bit uncomfortable". The last few days have brought on a new feeling of bloatedness and yesterday my fingers decided to take on the Michelin-man look...white and beyond chubby...quite painful, actually.
It´s interesting how the weight gain has been exceptionally constant over the last 3-4 weeks, even though all I´ve been eating is breakfast, lunch & dinner - normal portions - and only food (except for the occasional ice cream...). It´ll be a MAD amount of water coming out during the delivery (and during the following days after), or at least I hope so....

I would have been less surprised if my diet had looked like this:

Picture taken this afternoon, which is actually one of the very rare occasions that I´ve had cake (not being at a birthday party) during this pregnancy! Quite lovely it was as well - Carrot cake & Strawberry Cheese Cake at Biscuit. The perfect way to round off a great lunch with JO, with the extra privilege of being joined by Mango at the end of the coffee!

Thanks guys for ALWAYS bringing a smile to my face and being such lovely friends!

The temperature is rising...

MO:

The temperature kept going up today and during my afternoon fika with darling JOJO, I could feel my head cooking...LOVELY! (I know, I know, I´m such a sun worshipper...)

When P disappeared to do his deklaration, I went for a 3k run in Änggårdsbergen.

Or rather, I ran for about 2.5k in total and walked about 500m when the pain in my appendix scar got so bad my eyes were watering. It was all worth it though, because the last 800m-1k, felt great! (Especially after my second stop for a pee...sadly now it´s definitely bye, bye Skatås...)
YES!

Pre-run in a sea of colour...Skirt Lacoste, Vest and necklace H&M, shoes Mango, organic banana Eco Store...

7 months pregnant...Post-run...wearing running shorts! (which rarely happens in this country, since a temperature above 20degrees C is required...) Shorts, shoes, running sunglasses & functional T - all NIKE

I need YOU!!!

I need a BIKE!!!

To transport myself to work (in the city)
Transport to FIKA

Which one should I go for?

Please, I can't make up my mind...
One that is functional and might not me that stolen or one that is Hot and comfy (might be a bit slower) and might get stolen (or more likely to get stolen?!)?

Snälla Bullen Hjälp mig!
