How to survive the after-BLAST

After 2 days filled with sweat, adrenaline and LOVE from delegates, team colleagues, friends and aquaintances, it is always a challenge to survive the Monday after.

I was incredibly pleased with the weekend.

Having 3 sessions is fun and great, but also a big energy spender, as both JO and I can vouch for.

The "Power, Grace & Glory"-ride turned out really well. Despite some technical problems before the class and my pedal falling off during the warm up (yes, it´s true), the rest of the ride was smooth, but also very strong. Yum!

The MOJO Yoga session, which was placed last on the schedule on Saturday, still drew almost a full room. Lovely!

Sunday held the session which I had prepared for the most - ("Starting your own business within the health and fitness field") - in running clothes, on the yoga mat, driving my car, etc, etc, I had gone over the content of my lecture over and over again.

I felt inspired and positively nervous before, which is always a good sign.

Also here there were technology issues before we could start, but luckily it never really threw me, since the PPT-presentation was extremely simple and not that important.

Thanks to Jessica, who except from being a fab friend also turned out to be an excellent tech support! :)

During Power, Grace and Glory, my pedal suddenly came off.... Sometimes experience carries you through the weirdest moments.

It was one of the better convention classes I´ve had for a while.

The Evening before The Blast

The evening before.

Just landed back in my hotel room after a rockin´MOJO Yoga® pre-blast together with darling JO and about 20 wonderful yogis.

Just spoke to my little family on Skype. Miss them much, but I know that from tomorrow morning until Sunday evening the weekend will pass in 250km/h.

All is ready, all is prepared.

I just want to listen to my spinning music one more time and spend another 1-2 hrs on mentally preparing my lecture, then I will feel completely at ease.

I look forward to the weekend, as crazy and as busy as it is.

Will I see you in the crowd?

Hit me with The BLAST

Finally in place.

Didn´t think so at 15.46 when Robin decided to cry so much, he threw up his dinner all over himself/the floor and my newly washed T-shirt. He was a tad upset that I was leaving again.

It´s certainly getting harder and harder to go away. It was impossible for me to imagine what it would be like, until now...

Anyway, I call a cab - my train is leaving for Stockholm at 16.12. By the time I´ve changed into clean clothes, washed Robin up and changed his outfit, it´s 15.55.

I´m out the door with the phone clinging to my ear. By the time I reach the operator of taxi company number three and he also tells me: "Sorry, no taxis at this moment", I´m ready to kill someone. WHAT?! I live in the center of Sweden´s second largest city for Christ´s sakes!

And I live in the smack bang middle of the city because I want to be able to call a cab any time of day, drink my coffee in a proper coffee bar and not having to cut the bloody grass!

At 16.05, I´m behind the wheel in my car.

No, I didn´t keep to the speed limit and I almost handbrake-skid into the parking space at the train station.

16.10. No valid parking ticket. I get my VISA-card out. At 16.12 I´m by the right train track. Turns out the train is 6 minutes delayed due to late arrival. Good old SJ!

I think my heart slowed down around Skövde.

Eventually I´m here. So is my music, my spinning shoes, my lecture and my friends.

I´m ok, now Hit me with THE BLAST!

I´m not sure WHERE I can take my Sisjön Spinning Students next. They are incredible.

I'm into the 6am wake up time now - actually feels ok :) Even on a Sunday!
Last day of my GLOBAL YOGA TT part 3 and I am so grateful at the same time as it is SUCH hard work...
Sometimes I'm thinking: WHY Am I doing this?! I am exhausted after each day. But then my soul answerers me: You know why!

And I do!

After the grande FINALE today I can't wait to come home and relax with the love of my life! Oh I've missed him like this rabbit/dog?/Mouse? would miss it's cookies!!!

Wow!
What a GREAT day!
Despite my clumsy intro to Denmark yeasterday it has been an amazing day :)

First out the opening show in the main hall - Beautiful and strong girls pole dancing followed by US, the presenters, standing on the stage thinking we were just gonna go up and show our big smiles - instead an ÖVERVINTRAD aerobic instructor with a TIGHT little behind in a SILVER LATEX dress teaches US how the AE moves should be done!!! Hihihi - the funny thing is that whilst he made fun of US - or the way FITNESS looked like 10 years ago - I think that some of the instructors got a bit nervous since the VERY SAME moves was planned to be in THEIR classes.... Hihihiihi

After that I taught HOT MOJO and HOT FLOW - WOW - what amazing yogis u were guys! There was a lot of hearts bursting open in class and I thank you for the TRUST!

A quick lunch then went to check the TRX class, some of the Corebar class :)
Time for BodyBlanace n50 - with the 3 HOT and Stretchy guys :) YUM!

Tried a foam roller class for some inspiration but most of the time I thought only of a nice cappuccino :) Sorry!

Finished with Mo's Kick Ass Kettlebell class - YUM!

Al day I had the PRIVILEGE to hang with this gorgeous and VERY talented man!


We (Balazs and I) Rushed to dinner since they told us it finished at 1830... sitting there in our sweaty clothes (YES baby - sweet is SÖT and SVETT is Sweat ... ;) only to find out later that the REAL dinner started around 19 hahaha

Oh well - ZUMBA party going on now but at the moment I am enjoying my soft bed, some red wine and the HOT STRETCH class music too much :)

Another dear friend, Tony Stone, whom I must have known for over 10 years now. When we´re working the same event, I always try to take one of his classes. This time it was the "Video Dance"-class. My God. I normally have time for 1 dance class a year...hence the work with trying to get my arms and legs to move at the same time without looking spastic... After 5 minutes I was ready to give up, but then thought about how I hate when people come into class and leave without REALLY trying...so I persevered. It might not have looked like a MJ-video, but boy, did I have a GREAT time! Thanks to Febbe & Elaine who jammed the whole way through on my left and on my right, making sure I was at least facing the right direction on the last 8 count! :)
