GORGEOUS, intelligent, successful people for sale

Mo:

I have so many GORGEOUS single friends. I really do. The thing is, they´re not just gorgeous, but also funny, sweet, intelligent, kind, generous, sociable and nice. Some of them are happy being single, but many of them would really like to meet someone special. So, that begs the question: How do you meet that "someone special"???

Well, technology moves forward and according to stats everywhere, thousands of single people now use internet dating as a way of meeting new prospects. I´m not too sure that internet dating would suit the majority of my single friends, though... Me personally, rightly or wrongly, still have heaps of prejudice towards meeting your partner through the internet. I think: "These are socially active, successful, beautiful men and women who meet lots of interesting, equally beautiful and successful people through their work and travel. There must be a higher likelihood that they will meet someone at work, or on a train or a plane, then on a dating website (where most people tend to lie about their looks or personalities anyway)?"

Is the mating question a question of "seek and you will find" or more "relax, forget about it and when you least expect it....BAM!"?

Actually, there are so many couples out there who live in a half-happy-half-desperate-to-be-lonely-relationship, that I wish single people could be more happy in their singledom, whilst deciding what they really want from their next relationship and what they want to do in that relation to make it the best relationship ever. If you don´t know what you are looking for, how will you know that you have found it?
If you do the same thing, looking for the same kind of person - how and why do you expect it to work the second, or third, or fourth time around?

Are we meant to live with the same person for the rest of our lives? I used to not be so sure about the answer to that question. Now, that´s what I´m planning to do and it makes me unbelievably happy.

Well, if nothing else works for my friends, I´m considering starting a match-making thread every month, where I auction the latest gorgeous, single friend here on MOJO! :) I´m thinking: "Anyone who likes MOJO and the subjects posted here, will adore my single friends!"

Keep posted!

Happy friends day

Mo:

I´ve had a fab day so far. One of my best and closest friends had her birthday today and although she knows about 1 million people, she wanted to have a really calm, chilled out day by the seaside. 9 people were invited and we had a picnic, did some sunbathing, (the brave ones went in the water. Which meant I stayed on land...) and after a few hours of lounging around, we did some more of the same but at the waterfront restaurant 50 m away.

It was a long time ago I managed to sit down for more or less a full day without feeling stressed, bored, or "itchy". If I´m on holiday with a good book, far away from home - no problems - but as soon as I´m in a familiar environment, ie in my own city, it´s very difficult for me to do nothing! Weird, huh?

Being around great people certainly helps and I appreciate having reached a stage in my life, where I only surround myself with people that I truly want to call my friends.

This means, people:

- that can be trusted
- who genuinely care
- who give energy
- who are generous
- who are happy
- who are supportive

How many people out there are still hanging around with so called friends who give nothing, steal energy, always show up late or cancel last minute? You know the type, because after you´ve been hanging out you feel drained, sad, upset or down. Treat yourself to a friends-inventory-day, where you run through your list of friends and acquaintances - write down positives and negatives for each person and what you get from each friendship. The list might surprise you. If nothing else it will tell you which people in your life that you would like to see more of or get to know better and which people that might not "deserve" as much of your time....

THIS IS IT...

Jo: 2day was a FAB day!

I will tell you all about it 2morrow but for now here is a clue...

[]
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz!
You don't have to actually answer the questions.
Just read straight through, and you'll get the point!
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
[]
How did you do?
The point is , none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies..
Awards tarnish.
Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
[]
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special!!
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
[]
Easier?

The lesson:
The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials..
the most money...or the most awards.
They simply are the ones who care the most.

Be Yourself. Everyone Else Is Taken!

What do you want?

Mo:

What do you want? Out of life, out of love, out of work? If "happiness", "freedom", "calm" or "financial independence" is your ultimate goal, what does that really MEAN to you? WHY do you want it? WHEN do you want it? And HOW will you know when you are there?

Goal setting, Visions, Goal Getting Strategies, Resources and Tools - everything is everywhere right now...

The course I´m doing this week and in September, will eventually turn me into an international licensed Coach. At the moment, different key words are buzzing around in my head, making my head spin so much that I´m not even sure about my career focused, money oriented goal that I set this afternoon, anymore.

I felt so happy when I biked home in the beautiful summer evening after a great friendship/work dinner with Mango - and when I got home I was met by a HUGE bunch of red roses (a surprise from P) on the kitchen table - that it feels as if it doesn´t really matter what will happen with work or money, as long as I have this, always...

I have a DREAM

  • Många flyger i flyktsituationer
  • Vissa flyger för nöjes skull
  • Vissa fastnar i trädtoppar, andra i taket
  • Många spring startar, typ som Stålmannen!

Vad drömmer du?

SOMMAR

Its the first official day of summer and I am spending it in SKÅNE. I am in love again. This is where my home is. The dark earth roots me, grounds me and you know that according to all laws of physics - the more you push down - the higher you will lift!

Got this in my inbox today...

Have you taken any time recently to stop and ask yourself "Am I really committed to living a life I love"? Sit back and take a look and your life, your body, your state of mind, and you will have your answer. Your life is a reflection of all of your thoughts and beliefs. If you really want something and you are committed to it and you have faith, you will have it. If you aren't living a life you love in a body you love, where are you settling and where are you willing to change? Now ask yourself this, what is one thing I could do now to feel better? Can I do it? Will I do it? No one is born living an extraordinary life, you have to want it, commit to it, and fully expect to succeed. It's a practice, a daily practice of Sati, conscious living! Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. What you focus on you get! Commit!

I am off - on may way into new adventures and I hope that you will join me! I will give you all the details as soon as I can!

Big congrats to my MO!!! My heart is dancing for you ladidadida...

Just finished a skånsk breakfast in the middle of the wheat fields, the sun is shining, the cats are laying in the grass and I am on my way to Malmö with mom to stroll down the MERKADO, eat the best sushi in Sweden and inhale new inspiration at Malmö Konsthall!

Love to you on this very first day of summer 2008

You MORON!

Mo:

Some days can just be like that... Do you know what I mean? When you just want to stick your tongue out, make an ugly face and go "uuuuuuuueeeeeeee" to something or someone...

Like yesterday when I get down to the laundry room (during MY laundry time) and find that someone has unloaded my laundry into a dirty basket, stuck their own clothes in the machine and written a note: "Who is Björn?" + left an aggressive comment on the laundry booking sheet.
The MORON even left a note with his name and phone number. (And I would SO love to publish both his name and number here so that dear MOJO readers could call him at 4am in the morning, just to go "MORON!!!!". Luckily, I´m not that long-sighted. By the way, his name consists of three letters and begins with Ö and ends with ST).

The phone conversation went something like this:

me: Are you the person who unloaded my laundry in the laundry room?
him: (angrily) Who do you lodge with? Are you Björn?
me: I don´t lodge with anyone. We live in the house in our OWN apartament.
him: (pissed off)..oh, so your surname is Björn then?
me: Yes, it is, and you would have known that if you had bothered to check the names at the main door before you unloaded my laundry in a dirty basket.
him: (interrupting) ...well, I was so pissed off with the lodgers in this house, they always put their first names down on the laundry booking list and you never have any idea who they are....and last time I got so MAD, and....
me: (thinking: this guy is not very well in his head. Ehhh, doesn´t a lodger have the right to do the laundry if he or she has booked? Does it really MATTER if you book your laundry time with your first name or your last name? Booked is booked, right???) saying: well, it wasn´t a very nice thing to do, unloading my laundry, during my laundry time and then leave an angry note...
him: ..(very fast and mumbling) I guess I´m sorry then, BUT I didn´t unload your laundry...
me: So who did? It was outside the machine when I came downstairs and it was put in a dirty basket - which didn´t belong to me...
him: (interrupting again) That basket belongs to the house! You haven´t lived here long have you?
me: (thinking: what the hell does that have to do with things?!) 1 year actually
him: Well, that´s NOT long. Most of us have lived in the house for at least 5 years! And the basket belongs to the house!!!! It´s a property of everyone who lives here!
me: (thinking: ooookey)
him: (in the "I´m helping YOU out here"-voice)...well, you can empty the machine and just put my laundry outside since I have the laundry slot after you.
me: Yes, I will. I´m hanging up now, bye.

The laundry room is the by far worst culprit in causing aggression between neighbours, sometimes even violence... Heck, I´m not surprised.

... I said YES....

Mo:

I left as a girlfriend and came back a fiancée. I got proposed to on Monday 26 May on a deserted beach...and I said yes. Actually I said, yes, yes, YES - I want to - I will do - and I love you - now and forever...

Follow me into the CINEMA....

Jo: I was on a press release of the Movie THE MIST today!
I think it was my first press release of a movie, not sure but quiet confident that it was my LAST!
WHY:

  • 1. I jumped in a cab after my yoga/meditation classes at Hagabadet, grabbed a coffee and sandwich at Muffins mm. I had FLOW! I was rollin, centered, stretching time, with food and money in my pockets ☺
  • 2. I thought I was on my way to a RomCom movie with my best friends, jihaaa!
  • 3. It was not a RomCom! I was 10min late. Do you know that people who “recenserar” movies do NOT eat popcorn; they might, might Maximum have a coffee in their hand!!!
  • 4. I had a picnic with me!
  • 5. I was late
  • 6. There is no 20min Commercial on a press release, and no traliers … I LOVE the trailers!!! That’s the best part of going to the Cinema!
  • 7. The Mist is based on a Novel by Stephen King… that pretty much says it all!
  • 8. N, who invited me, sat next to me, got ALL my punches, ticks, attacks, tears, nypningar, nagelklor and so on...! He pretty much left the cinema more bruised then the main characters!
  • 9. I CRIED, I SHOUTED in FEAR, I LAUGHED out of …. You know, not knowing what to do when the feeling is too intense!
  • 10. Half way through the movie a man shouted: CAN SOMEONE SHUT THAT GIRL UP!!! Oh my god! He must have been such a STONE HEART, I’m telling you I did try to keep quiet but it was TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE, I AM NOT A ROBOT!
  • 11. I am exhausted! I need to drink liters and liters of water to balance my vattenbrist. My body is aching and my heart is torn.
  • 12. The scary part of the movie is not the SUPERNATURAL, but how people can switch, turn and totally loose their rational mind, their compassion, and let the EGO take over. I’m not sure what the worst part would be: - To be inside the supermarket with the byborna or outside in the mist…..
  • 13. THE END….the end….i cannot talk about it yet, I am still in a thousand little pieces!
